What we need is positive proof for hand-drawn digital paintings. And then there is Ibispaint (check it out) which tracks your progress and doesn't even let you upload to the gallery on their website without the automatically generated speedpaint. Photoshop or Krita have integrated or plugin-based recording functionality for that too. More likely we'll have to resort to a 'proof of work' sort of thing which could be a mandatory speedpaint/timelapse or a straight-up automated solution like Ibispaint. I don't think trained ML models for verifying/falsifying images as AI-generated will be that useful for very long as AI image generation models will keep improving too. I'm very interested in how they'll keep AI-generated images out though.
